About this Survey

This survey has been commissioned by the TLC Usergroup; an independent body established to liaise with TLC and represent the views and opinions of users that have adopted the TLC parish/community website template.

The survey has 6 sections:

and we would appreciate you spending a short while completing it so that we can form a reliable view on your opinions on the efficiency and effectiveness of the website portal. Following this, the Usergroup can use the information gathered to assist TLC in improving its site and service levels.

It is important that you understand this survey is not trying in any way to assess your diligence as an Administrator for your parish/community website. Everyone involved outside of TLC itself maintains their website on a voluntary basis and our main focus is, in effect, to consider what works for you and what doesn’t so the site itself can be as easy to use and informative as possible.

Any information you submit will not be shared with any third party other than TLC and only for the purposes of improving the website template.

Whilst overall user opinion will be shared with TLC, no one person, or parish council identity, will be identified or linked with any expressed opinions for disclosure to TLC.

Section 6 addresses your Parish/Community Council’s view of the website facility. The return time on the survey has been set to allow you time to have the survey discussed at your next parish/community council meeting. Please try to get this survey included as an agenda item at your next formal meeting.

TLC is able to provide the website to parish and community councils free of charge because it earns its revenue partly through advertising but advertising on websites can be disliked by users.
